History

Dr. Edwards’ love of football led him to his passion for helping others through chiropractic. During a high school football game, Dr. Edwards sustained an injury that immobilized him. He lost almost all range of motion of his neck. His father gave him two options, visit the hospital and undergo multiple invasive tests or visit the chiropractor for an adjustment. Dr. Edwards said after his first adjustment he regained about 99% of his range of motion back. From that day, he knew he wanted to help others regain their health through the natural healing process known as chiropractic.

Dr. Edwards passed his National Board of Chiropractic Examiners Parts I-IV and Physiotherapy in 1997.  He graduated Doctor of Chiropractic as salutatorian at New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, New York in August 1997. He then obtained his Bachelor of Science at S.U.N.Y. Regents College, in Albany, New York in April 1998.  Dr. Edwards is a licensed doctor of chiropractic and adjunctive procedures in the state of Pennsylvania.

After finishing his degree and opening his own practice in 1999, Dr. Edwards has not ceased in furthering his education of chiropractic care. He has developed in continuing studies such as: chiropractic concerning pregnancy and pediatrics, nerve conduction studies, clinical documentation, chiropractic rehabilitation, essentials of radiology in chiropractic, auto collision injuries, spinal pain syndromes, and electro diagnostic certification.

Outside of his practice, Dr. Edwards is an active member of his community. He is involved with The Pennsylvania Chiropractic Association, Westmoreland Chamber of Commerce, and the Westmoreland Conservancy and often donates his time giving Wellness Workshops in the area.

He has a wife and three boys. He enjoys running, hunting, fishing, golfing, and the outdoors.
